We should phase out personal use vehicles within urban centers, unless it is required for emergency services. Automatic improvement in many people's health due to gentle exercise of walking to the bus stop. Reduction in pollution. Reduced demand for vehicles means less mining for materials. If everybody stopped buying cars, think of how life would change for the better.
