I got a lecture from HR about “staying in my lane”, which I anticipated. I asked the head of HR to put it in writing that I should not flag mistreatment of colleagues nor potential legal risks to the company, and please cc my VP and the CEO.
We’ll see if she has the guts to do it.

Honestly I took this job because I was getting a bit burned out being a manager and wanted to be more hands-on again. But apparently I’m drifting into management anyway, maybe it’s time to move on again.
