Your well-written cirticism is a good start to reformulate as a list of pledges.
People can sign by sending PRs. The result is deployed as a page. 1 HTML file. Contributors are invited to the org automatically.
Then we have a tool for group communication and something that grows to make each of us feel less alone.

@ctietze@mastodon.social I like the idea of more information, but I'd like to avoid pledges. I want people to feel like they can contribute as much as they feel comfortable and safe doing. Yeah name... that's important...
