He could have prioritized holding 45 accountable for an attempted insurrection instead of upholding the lie of "decorum". He knew it was a lie but did it anyway. I can only speculate, but at some point, the opposition became so ineffective, they almost have to be complicit.

@jrdepriest@infosec.exchange They aren’t opposition. That’s my point. They are perfectly effective. I was willing to believe otherwise and that was a mistake. I genuinely held out hope that Biden would rise to the occasion. He didn’t. He gave a not quite symbolic gesture and fucked off into the sunset having achieved his goal of being president. That was his goal. The title.
