@dekkzz78@ruby.social 8GB. Not a lot nowadays, but since the cpu fan jumps into action everytime i move a slider in darktable, i'm pretty sure the overall memory isn't the most limiting factor here.

@kinderstampfer@mstdn.social tbh remembering my x280 #Thinkpad i wouldnt even think of running any photoshop/darktable/indesign type program on an intel iGPU model you might get away with a AMD Ryzen 7 iGPU machine but your looking at a minium of 16GB RAM & a modern dGPU if your working with large files. if my memory is correct the x280 RAM is glued in place & is thus not upgradable, it already has SSD?
