A search for an old email in my archives surfaced an email exchange I thought I had forgotten for good.
I still wince at how someone supposedly intelligent and insightful could utterly, completely misread something I wrote and me as a person.
Anyway, this did not affect my mood, and that’s a good thing.

@morrick@appdot.net I speak from experience. The way some people have always felt about us often lies beneath how they purposely choose to misinterpret our words. In the way they misconstruct what we said, there’s all you need to know. Beware when you catch that.
