@ironicsans@mastodon.social something like 400ms after each keyboard press. I'm using the new dimming keyboard and this is on an iphone 17 pro max (since I know mobile dev is a bear and a half!).

@afeinman@wandering.shop That's not expected behavior. Are you in “zoomed-in" mode or normal mode? In zoomed-in mode there's an automatic pan that lasts about 180ms, which might feel longer. And if you're swapping out an existing letter, there's a letter-swap animation that might add a feeling of lag. And if you have word-highlighting on, there may be something else going on. Do any of the above apply?
