@tvaziri@mastodon.social Pixar was always at its best doing unconventional, original storytelling that children could understand - WALL-E, Up, Inside Out, etc. If they intend to dumb things down again, we end up with dross like Cars 2 🤮

@benjamincox@writing.exchange @tvaziri@mastodon.social Two of the movies you cite (Up & Inside Out) were made by Docter 🤷🏽♂️ For better or for worse, being 'just' a director is different than being the leader of the studio. Different metrics to be graded on.
