@jcurries@mstdn.social @notthatkaren@mstdn.social As a professional translator, I’ll say that’s bad practice, but as a viewer and for a fan sub, as long as the meaning is still understandable, I’ll allow it. Because let’s face it: idiomatic expressions on their face don’t always make sense!
