  Emperor of the Sea. #Kdrama 51 eps - Choi Soo Jong as the righteous Jang Bogo and Song Il Guk as his lifelong enemy/soulmate are fabulous & I loved the scope and pace of the story.   I started #PrincessAurora #Kdrama without knowing anything about it but I have now learned that the writer was notorious for randomly writing characters out of the show. So I guess all those folks I thought would reappear at some point … won’t be doing that 😂

  #PrincessAurora #Kdrama is full of toxic attitudes but then there’s amazing stuff like the three sisters getting so upset that they ALL have to be put on IV drips so I can’t stop watching.

  Decided it was Jang Hyuk time again, so I watched A Beautiful Mind #Kdrama The story was a kind of clunky amalgam of Dr. House, Lie to Me and a sentimental hospital show, but I really enjoyed it. Even though it didn’t hold together that well, the bits & pieces were great. I liked that Park So-dam’s character was cute & sparkly without being childish, I liked the hospital crew, and JH was funny and heart-wrenching as usual. Next Jang Hyuk watch? Maybe Shine or Be Mad? The Client?

  I somehow started watching this incredibly weird soap opera #Kdrama called Princess Aurora. These three sisters have remained unmarried because they have to take care of their 30+ year old baby(!) brother and every night they sit around his bed praying him to sleep 😳

  Sigh. I have seen Choi Soo-Jong in two #kdrama roles - the general in Korea Khitan War and Jang Bogo in Emperor of the Sea (still watching) and absolutely loved him in both, but his other sageuks don’t seem to be available anywhere ☹️

  On the morning walk, spouse tried to shake cherry blossoms off a tree to take a #kdrama style video selfie of us. Reaching up to wiggle the branch with one hand and holding the phone with the other while attempting to keep my much shorter self in frame unfortunately changed the genre from romance to comedy. 😆🌸

  About 20 eps into #EmperorOfTheSea #Kdrama now & still enjoying it immensely. I love these two. I mean, one is a very bad guy but I still love them together. We’ll see how I feel 30 episodes from now 😛
