Little One has ultimately decided they'd rather keep the tooth as a memory than sell it to the tooth fairy.
Proud anti-capitalist dad moment, I suppose.

@pezmico@mastodon.nz Awww! How sweet! Go kiddo! We didn't have a tooth fairy growing up. I kept all my baby teeth in a special wooden box like little treasures, so I can relate. I actually use the same box to collect one of my kid's teeth that they gave to their tooth fairy.

@pezmico@mastodon.nz the kids were horrified and thrilled to discover I kept their baby teeth. Extra bonus points for giving them 3d printed jaws to keep them in the right place
