#PikaBackup is very nice, Borg backups for everyone, with a usable, every day user first interface.
I've set it up for my mum. Now, I'd really like to be able to monitor that backups are humming along nicely, and be warned if they failed. Anyone managed that?

@axx@mstdn.fr not quite on topic but circa 1990 , era of the wonderful OS, Windows ME group of us having lunch at work me: I am so tired of having to do backups and download updates and all that crap, can't we make our laptops dumb terminals that just connect to some server* ?? everyone: YESSSSSS !!! *iirc, this was before "cloud" was a common term
