@atpfm@mastodon.social pricing psychology is fascinating! charging extra for a monitor stand is egregious, but not charging less for no stand is also egregious. If there's a discount for no stand isn't that essentially the same thing as charging extra for a stand?

@potch@toot.cafe It all depends on whether or not you want a stand on the monitor you are buying. If you do want a stand, you don't want to pay more for it. But if you don't want a stand, you don't want to pay the same amount as the person who is also getting a stand.
