@jollyrogue@social.tulsa.ok.us If this were to become reality, one could ultimately risk losing their live, or more realistically (taking surface-level ethics into consideration), risk losing privileges according to a social credit score. And given robot enforcers wouldn't require compensation, there would be relatively little cost associated with the "army": used as an absolute last resort. If citizens express thoughts through digital platforms, you can adjust or manufacture consent, based on that input.

@annoniem@ohai.social This assumes there is something backing up their power. No state means they’re on their own. They would be isolated onto whatever land they could hold, and they would have to figure out how to maintain supply lines. Social credit scores and privileges, or social dynamics, would come into play, and the people who are violating the dynamics would end up ostracized or on sharp pointy sticks. Like the people who are being jerks and employing robots.
