@Hex@kolektiva.social If both the means of production and labor (through autonomous systems) are controlled by corporations, society will solely depend upon them. Pair this with AI-monitored surveillance (the most broadly applied use of AI): able to trace rioters to the place they originated from; and I think you have most incentives in place to avoid said riots. Interrupt the initiators, and you prevent a movement from snowballing out of control; or simply beat it down with AI-powered robots (yes, really...).

@annoniem@ohai.social This only works when people have something to lose, and the overlords have enough patience and resources to keep an occupying army funded. When they don’t, this turns into no go areas controlled by locals. They’re delusional. They’re big people with a state behind them to enforce laws, and without the state they are nothing. Humans are some ingenious monkeys who will fuvk some sht up when left to their own devices. @Hex@kolektiva.social
