@nycki@bark.lgbt yeah I’ve noticed that out of all the matrix clients out there, cinny has the most discord-like ui, although there is no voice chat there right now.
though I suppose you could always use something like mumble in conjunction with cinny

@crimsonfall@mas.to I noticed that @sophie@mastodon.catgirl.cloud hosts a free Jitsi server so I will probably use that for the time being but yeah I should look into Mumble

@crimsonfall@mas.to @nycki@bark.lgbt it isn't perfect but just to mention it. Teamspeak6 implemented matrix for their chats and they do federate which I find pretty cool. It isn't perfect and they got quite some quirks last time I checked (e.g. non-spec compliant image implementation). But you can write someone in teamspeak from your own homeserver or the other way around. That's at least some synergy.
