Just heard of a rumor that discord is supposedly banning people that post imaged containing something grid-like (chess board, excel sheet, keyboard etc). Supposedly an automated moderation gone rogue. Something about CSAM having been posted with grid pattern overlays to "fool the AI" and discord adjusting their model on that and it now throwing false positives on many things with grids. Does anyone else know smth substantial?

is there like a news aggregator or public account about happenings with the #StopKillingGames initiative? I only find a subreddit and a discord. Both aren't great options to "just stay in the loop". Something like a news bot on fedi or RSS feed would be neat. #SKG

Was reading up the other day how to get the "reader mode" in firefox to recognize my blog. All I found out that there is "some algorithm" trying to make a judgement where the content is and offering the reader mode if it is certain enough. That is... pretty vague.

A friend of mine recommended me to read this blog post and now I'm kinda sad. Not because there is anything wrong with the blog post but because they have good arguments and I'm unsure what to do about it.
