@AlexCorby@indieauthors.social Enticed! I struggle a bit with the names, mostly from lack of familiarity, but it sets the stage. I’m reminded of when I was tried doing some Welsh dialect work and learned the Welsh alphabet and a few words. 😄 “Every night of the year, except one” is the clear hook. Without that it’s mostly pretty scene dressing. The line lands and gets me interested in reading on.
