@JaneinNJ@newsie.social Ooooo yummy! You know I'm in SJ. Well, the Kibbitz Room in Cherry Hill just reopened a week ago. Last night hub and I went -- he got kreplach soup and I got a pastrami sandwich!

@PamelaBarroway@mstdn.social Yes I know! I grew up in Lower Merion and Hymie’s was the gold standard. (I remember the original Hymie in the ’50s, with his shop in a small storefront!) During the last presidential campaign, the current owner let the trump campaign film a commercial there. My late, beloved stepmother—and, I assume, many others—stopped patronizing the business and started getting their deli elsewhere.
