An incredibly funny thing about trying to learn new languages as an adult is that, if I struggle to recall a word in the new language, there's a risk it'll come out French

@kaye@cathode.church this happens to me as well. I studied French in high school, that's 60 years ago. As an adult I studied Chinese and French came out. Recently I have begun re-learning that Chinese to better enjoy #cdrama, and French is still in the way. Amazing how the brain processes language.
