@dpiponi@mathstodon.xyz well yes, that is mechanisation. The spinning jenny spins thread worse then a person at a spinning wheel, it just spins more thread. Artisanal bread is better then factory made bread. It’s been happening since the late 18th century.

@francesco@mastodon.au @dpiponi@mathstodon.xyz Automated manufacturing produces better items than craft built ones in many cases. Artisanal microprocessors are not a thing for a reason. That’s not to say decision making based on GenAI slop is going to be better than “artisanal” versions.
