There are many ways 🙂
Some people just like the touch of a knife, the cold steel and edges on their skin, as it adds tension, fear, or many other things. You can use a prop or blunted knife for this too if you want to reduce the risk of an accidental cut.
If going a step further and drawing blood as well, lots of safety measures need to be added.

Since there's blood contact, watch out for sti's and use latex gloves when you cut. Make sure you know first aid and have a kit ready just in case. Use only sterile tools. And only cut safe zones like back and outer thighs, never near veins! It's not for beginners and if you want to pursue this, do proper research! Personally I like to use fake blood, because it reduces risk and you can get quite messy without too much worry. 2/2
