I've just mowed the lawn for the first time in about 10 years. At our old place the landlord arranged a mowing service and here Dad had a guy who did it but £200 on a battery lawnmower is a snip compared to what he was paying. This way I can cut it high, leave a few sneaky verges and mow round the daisies 😃 Dad will insist on a socially respectable front garden though, no getting away with longer grass and wildflowers there. He won't be moved on that after decades of dedication to it 😄
