My brother has had enough of Windows 11. He really wants to keep playing his (mostly Bethesta, which don't support Linux) pirated games. He knows nothing about Linux, and I don't want to be Linux support. Which would better support his games? - Linux/Wine/Proton? - Windows 7? (Maybe Windows 10 could be a third option, but he might not like that any better than 11, considering that he upgraded from Windows 7 to 11, skipping both 8 and 10).
