The book also includes a look back at The Nib, why memes don’t pay, an interview with Matt (by me), and more; you can read the full story at the Kickstarter campaign. It includes some fabulous extra rewards: signed copies, digital prints, numbered giclée art prints, Matt Bors commissioned drawings.

When I called @mattbors@mstdn.ca to explain this idea, he was immediately interested, but we had to find the right title. That One Matt Bors Comic seized the mantle—it’s not about Matt but about people citing Matt’s comic. Strangely, he’s not erased as are so many artists whose work becomes memes! This book is a chance to take hold of the narrative and discuss how he feels about memeification and get others to weigh in on a range of topics.
