Last couple winters I’ve done a bit of monitoring around the house, trying to find & address heat/air leaks. The window of one bedroom wouldn’t lock on one side. This caused noticeable leakage on cold days but I couldn’t figure it out. It’s a second floor window so with my wife home. I set up the ladder and watched her open and close the window. I could now see that lock/latch didn’t line up. So a bike ride to the hardware store for some spacers and longer screws. #diy #winterization #minnesota
