@craignicol@glasgow.social that is certainly the case in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland where the parliament is elected by proportional representation.
Not really the case for the London parliament which is first past the post, although it seems the principal London parties have made such a dog’s breakfast of the last 10 years there may be some surprises at the next UK election

@peterbrown@mastodon.scot I'm suggesting that even in first past the post, the turnout is so low that anywhere could see a change if enough reluctant voters turn out to vote for someone else
