@hellcowkeith so on the question of friendly AIS, I want to The mines from Ian Banks' culture books. Not every one of them is friendly because they're all people and sometimes people are assholes, but in general and in aggregate the minds are friendly. AIS and the smaller AIS are much more likely to just be assholes because they're much more like on the scale of normal people. I do think they are significantly more friendly than the AIS in the ancillary series of books which are kind of big
