The people at my local makerspace are the best. I went for the first time since orientation, and felt uncomfortable using the miter saw. Asked some rando to spot me, and he agreed without hesitation. Gave me a lot of good advice, including how to correct one of the mistakes I made. I decided to step down to a bread box for my first project, and I'm glad I did. I'm learning a lot (code for "making mistakes")
