@griefofpride@mastoart.social I'm a jazz guitarist, been playing for over fifty years. Guitar takes time. It's one of my "special interests". It sounds like you need a teacher. Self learning is hard because you don't know what you really should be working on and you get no feedback. Your feeling of your brain rejecting it all is just overload. I also have a degree in physics, and I'd say music is just as difficult and deep (perhaps deeper). There are no easy ways to learn. Practice everyday is a good start.
