@simplicitarian@cloudisland.nz The Maia slip has buried a 500m section of the water main and they can't start serious repairs until the slip stops moving. Contractors are hand digging a trench around the slip to get water reconnected. They'll "install a temporary pipe-line up the side and around the back of the slip". https://www.odt.co.nz/news/dunedin/maia-much-bigger-problem
