Yay. I took a risk with 3 Russian cameras sold as "Parts only, untested", with no views of the lens internals. I had prepared mentally to take a look and put them in the bin if they were unsalvageable. Turns out 2 are in pretty good condition optically and mechanically, with the other having some fine scratches on the front lens that I doubt will show in photos. No haze or fungus, little dust. I did have to dismantle the latter as the focus was stuck in dried up grease. Works now.
