It's become one of my favourite macro lenses since it can do 1:1 magnification, with just a teleconverter, at 0.85m. It's great because insects/small things will often fly/scamble away if I get too close with other macro lenses*. Whereas here I had to zoom out a bit to get more tree in the photos. Exhibit A: testing a Jupiter-8 yesterday, I had to leave the camera running in interval timer mode to catch a shy spider on a flower. Pics to come.
