@0xThylacine@photog.social I like that my camera asks me for the focal length with manual lenses, but yeah, it doesn't have a clue about aperture. But I'm too basic, I'm mostly wide open or as narrow as it goes, so I can usually guess :)

@LovesTha@floss.social Pretty much the same here. Likewise I can guess often from the blur, but wouldn't be certain enough to embed into the image. Sometimes, especially with clickless apertures, I'll notch back just a fraction from fully wide to pull the softness down a notch, but it's like a 1/6th of a stop at best, maybe less.
