#ScribesAndMakers May 24: Warp? You hear a voice in the distance admonishing you that it's just a step to the left but you can't hear the rest. Time bends and moves around you, leaving you behind like sediment on a shallow bank. You feel a subtle worry that you won't be able to break free of whatever's happening to you. A calm and soothing voice speaks words you can't quite understand. Warp and weft. You've heard them but you can't see how they apply. The water — is it really water — moves one way, then its opposite, one way, and then it's opposite. A hand scoops you out of the liquid and places you in a safe place. You're not sure where it is yet but there's no reason to worry.
