#Marchintosh A late Marchintosh win tonight. Using the adapter cable I purchased recently, I managed to successfully install an ATX power supply in a PowerMac G4 MDD that has been lying dormant on my shelf for years. I had to pull the optical drive cage, so I needed the assistance of an external QueFire FireWire CDRW drive to install OS X Tiger. It’s janky in there (boy is it ever!) but this is very much proof of concept for me. Much to be done… especially replacing the noisy main fan.
