There is only one car left in the eu/greece that has a conventional ice engine, manual gearbox, (unfortunately NOT manual handbrake) and that's the 116hp vw golf. Literally everything else is a tablet on wheels. Apparently Toyota and therefore all rice cars in the eu (only hybrids, evs for the eu are available) has ditched the traditional 12v starter battery since the engine starts from the lithium pack. So now the electronics and fab key shit in the car when its parked drain the now smaller 12v battery in less than a week or so of immobility. And you can only put an after market 45ah one in to replace the 32 because its not a standard size one and you can't just jerry rig a regular size one because its not in the front but under the back seat in a compartment that won't fit a bigger one. It also means that if the lithium pack dies, you can't start the regular engine (since it starts from that and not the 12v) or charge the lithium yourself since it requires special chargers you don't have and can't buy and even if you could you have to take the car apart (kinda). I hate the west with every fiber of my being and the power of a thousand suns
