I wrote a long overdue note to my children--my son and his wife--and then promptly broke a glass measuring cup in my kitchen. lols. I am sending them a copy of a book Out on the Porch with an introduction by Reynolds Price as a housewarming gift. When in Birmingham, AL it was confirmed for me they loved their porch at their first new home. For mother's day that weekend, my son had me pick out a book at a trendy used bookstore. I chose a hardback of Isabelle Allende's The House of the Spirits. ❤️
