For Memorial Day, this song occurred to me, for whatever reason. I saw Michael Hedges at my college which was featuring Windham Hill Artists. What a transfixing performer. In my sheltered existence, I had never seen anything like it. He wrote Woman of the World for his wedding. The album was a great source of solace to me in my young years. He eventually divorced.
