@stefanlindbohm@mastodon.social what’s even funnier is that Trafikverket’s own press release acknowledge the trains are usually quite full (esp in high season) and that the demand will increase with new fancier rolling stock.
Then why do they halve the amount of sleeping spaces? I also haven’t seen this mentioned in the press?

@grlodi@mastodon.social Press goes on headlines, a fancy demo unit in Stockholm C and ribbons being cut by ministers as usual :). But I’d definitely expect SOME opinion piece or something by now pointing this out. It seems totally crazy to me from what I gather listening to people who have experience in night train operations.
