The good thing about arachnophobia, is unlike most indifferent invertebrates, it seems like most spiders genuinely have strong phobia against humans as well. So it's usually both of us getting startled, having a panic attack, while flailing the opposite directions (2 or 4 limbs for me, 8 for spood).
Like it's still better to not have a phobia disorder, don't get me wrong.

When you are so genetically predisposed to specific phobia disorders, that you can rank each phobia out of five stars, like a phobia disorder connoisseur. I'd say my direct maternal lineage could've done the same, they just chose denial and acted like their phobia disorders, and only theirs, is the most normal shit in the world while forcing exposing my phobia to me.
