@IndyRichard@mastodon.scot if I may ask as I watch with popcorn from afar. What is your take on where the independence movements are now across the UK? Is Scotland closer to another referendum? What about if the Labour gov collapses and a new election brings in Reform/Farage? Has there ever been an expectation that Wales would follow?

@chris@mstdn.chrisalemany.ca Hang on and I will consult my crystal ball...😀 The UK has been failing for many years. This was brought to a head by Brexit and turning our backs on the biggest markets of our neighbours. The hope was the US would save the UK. Trump has little interest in that. So with every election things keep getting worse. Reform is a huge worry with their xenophobia and blatant racism. With Labour and the Tories in decline, more people are questioning the future of the UK. 1/2
