@cory@follow.coryd.dev I feel like I'm in the same boat. I see fellow SEs failing for the AI hype train, actively training their likely replacement and deskilling themselves in the process. Sure. this AI tool can build this for them much quicker, but they sure as hell can figure out what's wrong with it or how to fix it without AI doing that for them, as well.

@mrmoore@mstdn.social Yeah, it's very much a trap. Yes, it's a tool but it's also an opaque, non-deterministic tool controlled by companies that are not at all aligned with your interests.
