@jazaval@mastodon.social You are right I described a regular phone, I forgot the "smart" part is a set of additions to that. I guess that a "smart"phone adds a touchscreen, internet access, the ability to use and install additional software and the ability to use it to exchange data with other devices. While not required for the technical definition it is of great advantage if the device also fits inside a pocket.
