@Saposcat@mastodon.social I think every writer is inspired by nature in the areas they’ve lived, and my writing is no exception. Many of the environmental details mirror the area where I live but not all of them. I started from scratch with the world itself. Some aspects are based on different cultures through history, but I tried my best to mix them up so I wasn’t using a single culture as a model for any of the groups of people in my story.
