@j@mastodon.n41.lat It really depends on the GL.iNet router. Some crash constantly even under minimal load, while others perform exceptionally well and can handle additional features like banIP, SQM, or dynamic routing on the side. And yes, stock OpenWrt and the GL.iNet GUI don't work well together. I actually switched to Vanilla OpenWrt (also on GL.iNet) as soon as I could - but I think that’s a matter of personal preference.

    @mark22k@layer8.space @j@mastodon.n41.lat Which models are you talking about? Got a Flint 2 MT6000 here running on vanilla Openwrt absolutely fine. Also thought about getting a Flint 3 but I'm afraid of the proprietary Wi-Fi 7 chipset drivers.
