walked to the lumber store, bought wood and ordered some cuts expecting it’d be an hour or two, but instead they finished before I was done paying, so i had to walk home and get my car because I got lucky with the one traffic light and all the pedestrian/cyclist-only shortcuts it took longer to drive than walk
