@BigShellEvent@toot.cat I don’t get allos. Like, I love a good romance. I think I even want to be romanced. But I don’t get how most people relate to sex. It just doesn’t compute to me.

@faithisleaping@anarres.family Personally I have stronger aro identity than ace identity, but I also think it's because sex is an act that's not difficult for me (even if sexual attraction is not intuitive), while romance is something that's far less well defined and if you don't get it you just don't get it. Plus I think we are more socially pressured to be alloromantic, even from young age via fairytales. At least most pop culture don't start to force sexualise children until they are 10. Extra bonus while erase their own innate sexuality, oh no anything sexual must be for the benefit of Dan Schneider and alikes.
