@GinevraCat@toot.community @Hellybootwader@mastodon.scot I fixed my glasses with gel nail polish (the kind you have to UV on and then it becomes really hard, unlike the normal polish which will wear off easily). Just sand down the edges so there's nothing's sticking out. I have the full shebang for the polish because I used to do my own nails, but imho getting clear top coat and a hand held little lamp helps with a LOT of small repairs around the house :D
(same for the needles imho, but in that case sand down from the tip onto the rod part then put polish there.
Edit: you can actually do it for the price of a uv top coat if you stick the thing out on the sun for a few minutes instead. Don't do the repair outside tho.

@sahqon@beige.party @GinevraCat@toot.community I don’t have the gel /UV torch (or not a UV torch for nail varnish - will have to look at the wavelength requirements) I had the clear nail varnish for sealing chips in cups/plates but could see the gel varnish would work better
