@tomas@iosdev.space I think it’s possible to provide a (mostly) glass-free option for the long term. At least on macOS. Apps with a great deal of custom UI — apps like Things; apps like Slack and Obsidian (Electron apps) — would have an easy time of this. We’ll see. It’s early still. But this situation reminds me a bit how, during the Aqua days, people started doing custom UI and non-standard layout to cut down on the excesses of Aqua (particularly the pinstriped window background).
